These policies govern participation in the Media & Entertainment IP Summit 2026 organised by ICMEG (Indian Council for Media Entertainment & Gaming). By registering, attending, sponsoring, exhibiting, speaking or participating in any associated activity, you agree to these terms.
2. Definitions
ICMEG refers to the organiser. 'Event' includes conferences, exhibitions, networking, competitions, workshops, digital platforms, apps and related activities. 'Participant' includes delegates, VIPs, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, media, volunteers and partners.
3. Privacy Policy
ICMEG collects and processes personal information only for legitimate event, community, networking and operational purposes in accordance with applicable Indian law.
4. Information We Collect
Personal, professional, business, payment metadata, attendance, networking preferences, uploaded files, communications, device information, cookies, analytics and marketing preferences.
5. How We Use Information
Registration, ticketing, badges, venue access, networking, B2B matchmaking, certificates, communications, analytics, CRM, future ICMEG initiatives, memberships, workshops and community engagement.
6. Marketing Communications
With consent, ICMEG may send event updates, newsletters, opportunities, grants, workshops, competitions and sponsor information. Users may opt out at any time.
7. Cookies & Tracking
The website may use cookies, analytics, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag and similar technologies to improve user experience and measure campaign performance.
8. AI & Personalization
AI may be used for recommendations, schedules, matchmaking and operational assistance. No legally significant decisions are made solely by AI.

Participant profiles may be shared only with opted-in attendees to facilitate business meetings and collaborations.
10. Sponsors & Exhibitors
Lead information is shared only where consent is provided or when a participant voluntarily scans a badge, submits a form or requests information.
11. Photography & Media Release
Photography, filming and live streaming may occur. Attendance constitutes acknowledgement that likeness may appear in promotional and archival material unless otherwise agreed.
12. Ticketing & Registration Terms
Tickets are personal unless officially transferred. Fraudulent registrations may be cancelled. Entry requires a valid badge and compliance with venue security.
13. Delegate & VIP Terms
VIP benefits are subject to availability and programme changes. Access privileges may vary by ticket category.
14. Speaker Terms
Speakers grant ICMEG a non-exclusive licence to record and distribute event sessions for promotional and educational purposes unless separately agreed.
15. Exhibitor Terms
Exhibitors must comply with venue rules, safety requirements and intellectual property laws and are responsible for their booth personnel and materials.
16. Sponsor Terms
Sponsorship benefits are governed by signed agreements. Branding usage requires prior approval from ICMEG.
17. Competitions & Awards
Participants confirm ownership or authority to submit entries. ICMEG may publish winners and showcase entries for promotional purposes.
18. Code of Conduct
Professional, respectful behaviour is mandatory. Harassment, discrimination, abusive conduct and disruptive behaviour may result in removal without refund.
19. Anti-Harassment Policy
ICMEG maintains a zero-tolerance approach to harassment. Complaints will be handled confidentially and appropriate action taken.
20. Accessibility
ICMEG will make reasonable efforts to improve accessibility and accommodate requests communicated in advance.
21. Intellectual Property
All ICMEG names, logos, event branding and official materials remain the property of ICMEG or their respective owners.
22. Data Security
Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards including encryption, controlled access and secure cloud infrastructure are implemented.
23. Data Retention
Information is retained only as necessary for operational, legal, accounting, archival and community purposes.
24. International Participants
Data may be processed in India and other jurisdictions used by trusted service providers with appropriate safeguards.
25. Refund, Cancellation & Transfer
Unless specifically stated otherwise, registrations are generally non-refundable. ICMEG may allow transfers or substitutions subject to published policies.
26. Force Majeure
ICMEG is not liable for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond reasonable control including natural disasters, government restrictions or public emergencies.
27. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ICMEG shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from participation.
28. Governing Law
These policies are governed by the laws of India. Courts having jurisdiction in Hyderabad, Telangana shall have exclusive jurisdiction unless otherwise required by law.
